Dr. Baxter, Associate Veterinarian, is a graduate of North Carolina State University.  Originally from Oklahoma; she started her animal career at the University of Rhode Island where she received undergraduate degrees in marine biology and animal science.  Following veterinary school she completed a small animal medicine rotating internship at The Hope Center, where she then stayed for an additional specialty internship in Internal Medicine before entering general practice.  Outside of work Dr. Baxter enjoys concerts, travel, hiking, and spending time with her husband, daughter, and their pets - a Staffordshire Terrier mix and four cats.
