Dr. Lizzie Hines grew up in Northern Virginia and has always loved working with animals. She attended the University of Vermont for her undergraduate degree and the Royal Dick School of Veterinary Studies in Edinburgh, Scotland. She lives in Lovettsville on a horse farm and enjoys horseback riding, outdoor sports  and traveling. She is also learning about the Virginia wine industry by working at a winery on the weekends. Her veterinary interests include geriatric pet care, dermatology, and internal medicine. She has a strong belief in the importance of preventative medicine and nutrition for her patients.
