Asssociate Veterinarian
Dr. Dara Rowe
Dr. Dara Rowe grew up in Northern Virginia and received her Bachelor of Science degree in psychology from George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia. She originally had a plan to pursue human medicine but eventually made the switch to veterinary medicine after volunteering at local animal shelters and interning at the Smithsonian’s National Zoo as a bird house keeper aid. After working as a veterinary receptionist/assistant for three years, she attended veterinary school at the Royal Veterinary College in London, England. Upon moving back to Virginia after graduation, she is thrilled to join the HAMC team as an associate veterinarian. Her interests outside of work include traveling, eating her way through food markets and petting as many golden retrievers as she can.
